The stockings were hung, the tree shining bright, And the house was aglow in the sofr, quiet night. The children were nestled, all tucked into bed, With visions of Santa and reindeer ahead. And as the night deepened, hearts filled with cheer, Tomorrow would come - and Christmas was near!
